See Water Joins Coast Records, Releasing New Album In February
NEW ALBUM "HIT THE MOON" COMING FEBRUARY 17TH
Coast Records is proud to welcome See Water to the family with the release of their forthcoming full-length album
"Hit The Moon" - Available February 17th.
See Water's full-length album 'Hit The Moon' was recorded at Truphonic Recording Studios. The album captures the energy of a live See Water performance, with added elements from Charleston's own Ross Bogan (The Movement, Sol Driven Train, Long Miles), Parker DeWitt (Blue Dogs) and Walker Barnes (MooseKick), to name a few. 'Hit The Moon' is set to be released February 17th, and is led by the first action-packed rock-ska single, 'Echo', available now on iTunes, Spotify and Bandcamp.

Introducing Thompson Faulk | Listen Here
Coast Records is proud to present the new single “Beauty in the Headlights,” from Charleston, SC based songwriter Thompson Faulk. “Headlights” is the first official release from Faulk’s forthcoming full length album, “This is Life.” The album was recorded across most of 2016 with producer, Matt Zutell, and features musical support from numerous members of the Coast roster.
“Headlights” presents listeners with a lighter glimpse of Faulk's songwriting as it offers insight into what can be expected from the full length release. Rooted in alternative country and steeped with earnestness, both “Headlights” and “This is Life” explore themes of nostalgia, romance, and images of fading youth. The warmth in Thompson’s voice makes each of the tracks feel instantly familiar, while the lyrics conjure lasting images that will resonate with listeners well beyond the first listen.

Terraphonics Releases Debut Single "Get It Thumpin'"
'Get It Thumpin' is the debut single from Terraphonics, a project born out of R&B guitarist and producer, Thomas Kenney's, love of classic funk, neo-soul, and early hip-hop elements. Terraphonics not only samples live musicians from Kenney's hometown of Charleston, SC, but around the world, fusing Afro-Cuban, West African, and Latin elements alongside American soul.
'Get It Thumpin' is almost weather channel counterpoint meets a psychedelic hip hop vibe. Featuring Little Stranger emcee Kevin Shields, the track is both a live/sampled session with Alex Kellner on bass, Brandon Brooks on drums, Jonathan Lovett on keys, producer Rodrick Simmons (D'Angelo, Joss Stone) on synths, producer Robbi Kenney (Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Michael Bolton) on violin and viola, Gino Castillo (Gino Castillo Quartet), Robbie Madison on trumpet and vocal samples, and producer/mix engineer Thomas Kenney on guitar.
