Human Resources Comes to the Forefront of Charleston’s Music Scene with New Music and Shows
March 17th marks the day of the first official release from Human Resources with their single “Queen”. Catchy and concise, the song seems to have bridged the gap between 70s’ funk and modern pop. With an album in the works and videos to accompany the singles, it is clear that the band is hard at work and ready to get their sound out to the public.
Human Resources touts a sound somewhere in between Phantom Planet , The Hush Sound, and The Killers which they lovingly define as “fresh rock”. With savvy yet swoon worthy lyrics, (think “Mr.Brightside”) married to electronic beats and driving tempos, this quartet is gaining ground within the Charleston area. Formerly known as Donnie Dies, Human Resources has rebranded in an attempt to break into new markets as a modern act with their “fresh rock” movement that intertwines polished songs and visual elements into one. Needless to say, these guys are definitely making moves and promise to be an act to be reckoned with.
